Programs
Churches partnering with Africa New Life can be involved in the following ministries:
SPONSORSHIP: Africa New Life sponsors support nearly eight thousand children through high school. Each child in the sponsorship program receives a school uniform, books, school supplies, and basic medical assistance. Each child also attends our monthly Christian day camp and a four-day Bible camp each year. Ninety percent of child sponsorship funds go directly to the child sponsorship program in Rwanda.

PUBLIC SCHOOLS: The Rwandan government has shown its support and trust for Africa New Life by asking us to manage two public schools. These schools, in the communities of Kageyo and Bugesera, now give hundreds of the nation’s poorest children the chance for an education.
TRAINING FOR WOMEN: Each year, around 90 women are trained through Africa New Life Ministries’ vocational training programs through the New Life Family Center. These women come from a variety of challenging life experiences: many are HIV-positive, single parenting, widowed, or living in abusive situations (or emerging from them), and all are striving to better themselves and their families’ lives without access to the tools and skills that would help them do so. The vocational training programs offer these vulnerable women the opportunity to learn vocational sewing or cosmetology, providing them with vital skills that offer a future of employment and the chance to escape poverty.
PASTOR EDUCATION: Africa New Life Ministries launched Africa College of Theology in January 2013, providing college-level training for pastors from around the Rwanda and surrounding nations. Now, 190 students and ministry leaders are being equipped through the college’s certificate and degree programs, and hundreds more are gaining valuable skills through Bible, English, and business classes. These students are largely supported through the generosity of churches and individuals in the States.
DREAM KIDS: It is estimated that in Kigali, Rwanda’s capital, 7,000 children live on the streets. These children– mostly boys who are orphaned or escaping challenging home situations, experiencing poverty, and may be too old to return to school– go to the streets looking for food, for water, for a better life.
Africa New Life provides 50 of these children the opportunity to get off the streets and into the classroom. By sharing the gospel and providing ongoing discipleship, tutoring, and consistent meals, Africa New Life helps these children become stable and prepare for traditional sponsorship.
TEAM TRIPS: Each year hundreds of people visit and serve the people of Rwanda with an Africa New Life team trip. Many churches who partner with Africa New Life send teams to Rwanda to see new life for themselves.
